Katydids – A Rich, Chocolatey History
The story of Katydids’ delectable fundraising candies began in 1854 when J.L. Green opened a candy and confectionery manufacturing company in Bloomington, Illinois. Paul F. Beich, grandfather-in-law of Katydids’ namesake, Kathryn Beich, purchased the business during the late 19th century, founding the Paul F. Beich Company in 1905.

Why do I have to pay sales tax on items and on shipping?

Why can’t I ship to a P.O. Box?
P.O. Box is located in a post office and they won’t accept deliveries directly from most carriers.

What is the expected shelf life of a product? Should I keep chocolate in the refrigerator?
Chocolate should be kept in a cool, dry place, preferably below 72°F, but not in the refrigerator. Solid milk chocolate will last up to 12 months from its manufacturing date. Milk and Dark Chocolate with nuts, raisins, caramel, or other flavorings in it will last up to 9 months from its manufacturing date. If there is a “Best Thru” date listed on the product, please use this date.
For orders of 10 or more cases, please contact your Sales Rep.
On larger orders, Public and Private Schools are often given credit terms of 15 days. Please be sure to check with your account representative.
